About Jennifer Edwards​

 

Jennifer's passion for portrait art began when she was in elementary school.   By the time she reached high school, she realized she could get a likeness in her drawings.

In 1995, Jennifer joined the local art association and quickly learned from its members how to paint using oils.  Throughout the 1990's, she served a 4 year term as president of her community art association, where she conducted summer art camps for children and  hosted visiting artist workshops, all of which funded the association's scholarship program.

Jennifer has been a member of SCAVA (Southern Crescent Association for Visual Arts) and ASOPA (American Society of Portrait Artists).  She has attended workshops with world famous artists such as Daniel Green, John Howard Sanden, and Connie Lynn Reilly.
